I'm a lover of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, 1st Edition & classic hex and counter wargames like Europa and Panzer Leader.

It's what I started with, so tracking resources, tactics, and looking up tables & charts is great fun to me!

What about me? I grew up in the seventies and have kept playing some kind of roleplaying game, of one sort or another, all my life. Sadly, that moved away from playing together in person to computer based gaming many years ago. I've always preferred the weekly game session in person, regardless of tabletop RPG or boardgame. I don't get to sit down and play games with friends much anymore. We're all older now. Some with kids, most with jobs, and most not wanting to go out on a work night just to play a "game". We've completely lost our priorities, I say. That's another topic though.
