My name is John Cruz. Originally from New York City, I now live in the Bay Area. This channel documents and preserves everyday life through handheld filmmaking.

My work is grounded in authenticity, spontaneity, and unscripted moments as they unfold. I currently film with an iPhone 14, with plans to upgrade to the iPhone 17 in 2026.

My shooting style is a one-take approach, prioritizing realism over post-production. I haven’t used major editing software—a deliberate choice to highlight raw documentation.

However, I welcome collaborations with creators of any age who share a respect for craft.

Keep in mind that my content does not chase trends.

Nevertheless, if this channel grows, it will be the result of meaningful engagement and the refinement of my creative process.

The goal is simple: to bring joy, provoke thought, and to continue creating art for the people!
