Valentine Volvo
AMVIC Licensed Business
What is now regarded as a pillar within the Calgary business community has a long history and modest roots. In 1946 Bert Valentine and Ted Halford established Halford and Valentine in South West Calgary, selling Austins, Studebakers and Ramblers. In 1967 the company began to sell Volvos, eventually becoming Calgary‘s only authorized Volvo dealership. In 1968 Bert’s son, Ted, took over as president and the company was re-incorporated as Halford and Valentine Ltd. In 2000 the business relocated to a state of the art facility on Richard Way in Calgary‘s South West and opened as Valentine Volvo.
Today Valentine Volvo has grown into one of the most respected and reputable car dealerships in Canada.
We take pride in our city and believe that giving back to the community is an essential part of doing business. We support local not-for-profit organizations, sports teams, and service clubs.
