CummingsYourWay
Follow us on all social media @cummingsyourway. Cummings Your Way is a series of difficult-to-categorise travelogues that take a poetic, humorous and often surreal look at the byways of (mostly) England. These films incorporate history, without aiming to be accurate history lessons, and artistic and literary links to our built environment. The tone changes from awed to irreverent to saft* on a whim.
CYW focuses mainly on England, with excursions to Wales and Belgium. They centre on the unique literary style of presenter Dan Cummings, who has been described as the 'Britpop Pevsner' somewhere on our social media. Our self imposed remit is to chronicle places that are under represented. To that end , we take a 'Black Country Centric' view of the world, hailing from a Wolverhampton / Stourbridge axis.
Caribee Island productions (Dan Cummings and Lee David Harris), with collaborators Martin Davies (Chrome Appliance), Mike Barker (Electronically 79) and Karl Babarczi.
