The Shade Tree Garage
Welcome to the Shadetree Garage YouTube channel! This is a channel devoted primarily to my journey with my 1956 Plymouth Belvedere which I plan to repair and repaint in my shop -- along with various and sundry projects that arise from time to time keeping my family's vehicles in operating condition.
ABOUT ME. My first interest in all things automotive started when I discovered Matchbox cars at our local J.J. Newberry store. I've been drawn to horsepower and performance ever since.
Thirty years ago I owned and operated a body shop. My plan is to rekindle those old skills, bring them up-to-date with 21st Century technology and techniques, and wind up with a great-looking paint job on the Belvedere.
My advice? Avoid trade-out deals with a friend at ALL COSTS!
