Timea Béres

Tímea Béres is a lyrical soprano and finalist of the 2025 Vienna International Music Competition. She placed third in the chamber music category at the 6th Danubia Talents International Liszt Ferenc Competition with performing songs by Béla Bartók, Pál Járdányi, and Ferenc Liszt.

Tímea studied in Milan with Bianca Maria Casoni and earned a summa cum laude degree in vocal performance from the Arrigo Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza. In 2016, she won the Vicenza Chamber Music Competition. Her teacher, Elisabetta Andreani, has been a key influence on her development.

Her notable performances include three solo recitals at the Loggione del Teatro alla Scala (2016, 2019, 2023, 2025), concerts at the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest (2021 with guitarist Daniele Lazzari and 2025 with pianist Ivan Dalia).

Tímea’s repertoire spans chamber music, opera, operetta, oratorios, sacred music, film scores, musicals, and contemporary compositions, showcasing her versatility and broad appeal.
