Ann-Marie Atkins (The Saxy Lady)
Hi, I’m Ann-Marie, and I specialise on playing the tenor saxophone but also play the alto and soprano. I love to play all styles of jazz and jazz improvisation, soul, reggae and ballads, but my first love is reggae. I'm a solo artist or I dep for bands and do live performing and studio work.
I transcribe pieces, arrange horn lines & pieces for bands. I also enjoy doing renditions of popular songs with added improvisation. You will also find videos of some of the bands that I run and play with for which I also play the trombone, flute and keyboards…oh…and I sing a bit too!
