Savage Flies
Savage Flies is a project with the mission of encouraging as many people as possible to get into fly fishing and tying. The channel is named after one of my western Maryland homewaters, the Savage River.
I have THREE goals to help achieve the mission:
1) Fly Tying Tutorials. I try to publish at least two new tying videos every week. Hopefully a new tier can learn a little something from each one.
2) Tips, tricks, product reviews, and fly histories. I think linking the next generation of tiers with our forefathers in the community is a great way to continue the heritage that makes fly fishing and tying such a great sport.
3) Giveaways. Sometimes there is no better way to give back to the community than simply giving back. From vises, tools and tool kits, tying books, gift cards, etc, I want to help as many people as possible enjoy our sport.
