The West Island School Higher Education and Careers Department is dedicated to serving a diverse student body and their families through a process of self-discovery supported by students engaging in scaffolded research and
reflection experiences exploring careers and post-secondary opportunities. Through a holistic approach, we aim to create an inclusive learning community that encourages personal growth, and helps families and students to expand their initial conceptions of what is “best” to a more open-minded, best-fit orientation to better optimise financial, academic, geographical, and intellectual “fit”.
