Hi, my name is Stephanie and I run a studio called FUTURE LANDSCAPES Design + Visualization. I also teach design and representation to Masters of Landscape Architecture students.
In my work I examine both the technical and expressive representational mediums we can use when communicating design intent through imagery. One the one hand, there are digital skills such as CAD, 3D modelling, rendering and post-production. These bring precision and rigor. But on the other hand, there are analog mediums such as pastel, watercolor, crayons and charcoal that bring texture, depth, atmosphere and emotion. I attempt to bring these two different methods together, so you'll see a mixture of software tutorials and artistic testing and techniques.
