COLONIAL CAPOEIRA - Mestre Paulinho Carioca

COLONIAL CAPOEIRA was born in 2021 after months of discussions between Mestre Paulinho Carioca and his older students, and by mutual agreement decided to take this important step. The name derives from the colonial period, when started the colonisation in Brazil, that coincides with the arrival of African slaves, time when Capoeira was born in Brazil.
The Cultural Center “Capoeira Colonial” - CCCC, aims to study and teach Afro-Brazilian traditions and folklore in their totality, with particular attention to Capoeira as a sport, combat, martial art, acrobatic discipline, dance, body expression, improvisation, rhythm, play, art, poetry, music, singing, non-verbal communication, philosophy. Finally, em all its variants as an educational tool, in the formation and personal and collective development of its members.
