Hiking the Appalachian Trail, One Section at a Time. My trail name is “Sugar Bear” and I’m a retired 69 year old Air Force Veteran from Mountain Park, GA.
Section hiking the Appalachian Trail in its entirety has become a major 'Bucket List' goal to complete ... and video journalizing that experience has helped my to regain my love of photography and creative expression that I had in a younger life when I got my A.A. in photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta.
So far, I’ve hiked 1,260 of the Appalachian Trail’s 2,197 mile total, with 940 miles left to Mount Katahdin’s Summit.
