Home Gadget
Home Automation should be just that, Automation not remote control!.
Do I want to have to get my phone out of my pocket to turn on a light when a light switch is faster ?......no I don't.
There are so many gadgets being sold as "automation" it can be hard to know where to start and if those gadgets which are typically expensive are any good.
Will they do what you want them to ?, will they talk to each other or will you end up with lots of different systems with an app for each leading to a nightmare?.
I found it hard to find good information showing me the details I wanted to know when I started out in home automation, therefore I thought it would be useful to share reviews of the products I buy and use.
