La Descarga brings a tropical boom experience full of fiery colourfulness and boneshaking rhythms, taking audiences into a musical adventure inspired by the golden tropical days of Colombian music. Featuring cantadores and cantadoras (traditional singers), traditional Colombian percussion, gaita flutes, accordion, dub-bass, athmospheric synths, and psychedelic guitar alongside folkloric dancers and visual projections, it is the right contemporary tropical fix.

From 50s ballroom fiestas in Colombia’s renowned cities of Bogota and Medellin to the sun-drenched Caribbean beaches parties of Cartagena and Santa Marta, Tropicality is a much-needed homemade dose of colour, rhythm and fun, administered by the iconic vibrant Latin-Australian band La Descarga.
