Myanmar Martial Arts Group
The MLWC (Myanmar Lethwei World Championship), which began in August 2016, has now reached its 10th anniversary in 2025. Over this decade, the MLWC events have attracted fighters from Myanmar, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Italy, Canada, France, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Cambodia, Laos, Russia, the United States, Germany, Costa Rica, and Kyrgyzstan. The match uses a knock-out format. MMAG has strictly adhered to the competition rules and regulations set by the Myanmar Lethwei Federation. For the past 18 years, the organization has hosted Golden Flag tournaments with a point system, as well as individual challenge matches in the knockout format. In international bouts, not only top-level fighters but also up-and-coming athletes have been sent abroad for experience. Up to now, 95 male and 10 female fighters have participated in matches in Japan, Thailand, Laos and Taiwan.
