Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE)
The Social Care Institute for Excellence improves the lives of people of all ages by co-producing, sharing, and supporting the use of the best available knowledge and evidence about what works in practice.
We are a leading improvement support agency and an independent charity working with organisations that support adults, families and children across the UK.
Our work goes well beyond the traditional social care sector. We support citizen-led groups, national and local government, care, health and housing providers, and voluntary, private, community and faith groups.
We help individuals and organisations to keep children and adults safe from abuse and neglect, and deliver better social care, health, housing and support to children and adults.
