My husband and I left Cambodia in 1983. We lived in a refugee camp in Thailand for five years before settling in Canada in 1988. We have 7 children, 4 daughters and 3 sons. So our expenses are high to support the family, these are the reasons why I try to find ways to reduce the cost of food and save money. I used to be a woman who did not know how to cook a single dish, but when my husband and I arrived in Canada, the creative idea began to process the ingredients here to make it more natural. The taste is similar to Khmer food in Cambodia.
