ICT Vision and Graphics Lab
USC ICT’s Vision & Graphics Lab develops cutting-edge techniques for the digitization of photorealistic virtual human for training, simulation, and immersive communication. The lab is widely known for its pioneering Light Stage capture technology and is bringing deep learning research and novel data-driven techniques to advance end-to-end acquisition systems with new capabilities such as deployability in the field, photorealistic renderings, and true-to-live real-time performance capture. Dr. Hao Li’s work with machine learning in visual effects enables a real-time, photoreal 3D facial performance to be generated from a single static image.
