Toronto Women's Dragon Drum Group

The Toronto Women's Dragon Drum Team（TWDDT) was established in 2021 to promote traditional Chinese culture and contribute to multiculturalism in Canada. It is a non-profit organization composed mostly of amateurs in the Chinese drumming art. The team is led and directed by Ms. Wang Rong, a former percussionist of a symphony orchestra, who unites the team and forms the group’s soul centre with her professionalism and dedication.
The TWDDT has participated in many community activities, cultural festivals, and municipal government celebrations. Most notably, the team was invited to perform at Parliament Hill. By performing nearly a hundred different shows, this youthful group is spreading Chinese drum music to other ethnic groups and helping the world get to know this inspirational and spiritual culture.
The TWDDT's professionalism, skill, and excellence in performance has established the group as the premiere renowned Chinese drum team in the GTA.
