Cree Land Stewardship -Eeyou Ituun College Program

The Cree Land Stewardship (Eeyou/Eenou Ituun) Training Program is a fully accredited 900-hours collegial program that leads to an official Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) certified by the Québec Ministry of Education.

The program is offered in partnership between the Cree Trappers Association and the Cégep de St-Félicien.

The Eeyou ltuun, Cree land Stewardship Program is designed to teach Cree who are not experienced land users the fundamental skills to be effective Cree Land Stewards.

Cree Land Stewardship training program is designed to teach the younger generation of Crees to live off the land as the past generations did, and become the next generation of land stewards!

The program will benefit from the tremendous knowledge of Cree elders to teach these fundamentals to younger generations.

The first cohort of the Eeyou Ituun - Cree Land Stewardship program was from Septembre 2021 to June 2022.
