Anwaar ul Haramain Jamè Masjid

Anwaar ul Haramain Jamè Masjid (AHJM) Manchester, formerly known as North Manchester Jamè Masjid, marks a significant chapter in the spiritual and community life of Manchester’s Muslim population.

The renaming to Anwaar ul Haramain Jamè Masjid represents a renewed vision and an expanded mission: to illuminate the hearts and minds of the faithful with the light (‘Anwaar’) of the two sacred sanctuaries (‘Haramain’)—the Holy Kaaba in Mecca and The Prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم Mosque in Madinah.

Under the auspices of the World Islamic Mission and the spiritual leadership of esteemed scholars like Mufakkir-e-Islam Hazrat Allama Qamaruzzaman Azmi, AHJM continues to flourish as a center of worship, learning, and community service. It stands as a testament to the enduring faith and resilience of Manchester’s community, committed to spreading peace, wisdom, and compassion in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
