Jan Preston is a knockout boogie pianist, singer, and songwriter who has captured audiences worldwide. With a background in classical music and songwriting, Jan has created her own style through exceptional piano playing, singing, and original compositions.
Winner of 5 music awards, she performs concerts and festivals across Australia, NZ, and Europe, writes music for film, and has composed soundtracks for ABC TV programs including the theme to Australian Story. She has guested on Spicks and Specks.
Her film scores include music for Silent Films at the Sydney & Melbourne International Film Festivals and Art Gallery of NSW. She has represented the Sydney Blues Society at the American Blues Foundation in Memphis & performed at major Folk, Jazz, & Blues festivals across Australasia.
Recently her piano instrumental Trout Blues became the title music for BBC Radio London’s Evening Show.
