Chris Mears - Narrowboat In Slow Time
This channel will be about my life on a Narrowboat; when it is built. I have considered this lifestyle for some years as buying a house has become too expensive for a 55year old, trying to re-enter the housing market. Basically, you need the money upfront to buy a narrowboat unless you want finance, which is expensive so I needed to save. I have had a full military career and want to be a little more creative in how I live my life. I have not been on a narrowboat before, other than to view a few in a marina. I don't know if I will like it, but then, I didn't know I would like the military.
I like being busy and am learning about photography, cooking and of course learning to make short film documentary videos for this channel. My aim is to inform family and friends of what I am doing and a method of keeping my brain active.
