WELCOME TO TDM2000 CHANNEL

"Associazione TDM 2000" is an independent organisation, no profit with educational aims that coordinates young people willing to cooperate in the voluntary sector.

We support young people in developing personal and professional skills through experiential learning and non-formal education. We work at local, regional and international level. We organize intercultural activities involving the participants in practical experiences of life that allow sharing and exchanging of ideas, opinions and experiences.
Main field of interest: human rights education, intercultural learning, environment, democracy, active citizenship, interfaith dialogue, non formal education, international cooperation, local development.
All the activities we implement are thought, planned and realized by young people. Members are all the categories of youth: students, workers, unemployed, disadvantaged youngsters...
We also work to foster cooperation among public bodies like local municipalities and the regional government with their counterparts at the international level.
In the frame of the Youth in Action programme we are active under all the actions and we are accredited as hosting, sending and coordinating organization through the European Voluntary Service.
We have been recognized as Non Government Voluntary Organization by the Government of Sardinia.
We are accredited by the CoE and we participate in Leonardo Da Vinci Programme (Transfer of innovation and Mobility).
The Association has two head offices with information technology equipment by which we run a Web Radio www.radioxcaso.tdm2000.org which has been co-funded by the YiA programme action 1.2.
From 2009 we are hosting at national level a project under the Civil Service (Servizio Civile Nazionale).
Our supporters are public and private bodies and we have good connections with local MEDIA.
"Associazione TDM 2000" cooperates with other Sardinian young people's groups and associations.
We are part of the "Anna Lindh Foundation" network and We work within the frame of Erasmus for Entrepeneurs Programme.
TDM 2000 is member of TDM 2000 International network.
