The Uganda National Apiculture Development Organisation (TUNADO) is a not-for-profit, private-sector member organisation, serving all Ugandan beekeepers.Our vision is to transform the apiculture industry into a vibrant economic enterprise that will contribute to increased income for both rural communities and the nationTUNADO is the national apex body responsible for coordinating the beekeeping industry in Uganda. TUNADO represents one million two hundred thousand 1,200,000 beekeepers (UBOS 2016) organised in 264 associations, cooperatives and companies. TUNADO organises national honey week annually as a platform for members to showcase their products and services.
