Air Crash Investigator

Most accidents occur in the general aviation category and can be traced to clear deviances from either aerodynamics or standard operating procedures. During this series each accident is reviewed with pointers on how to avoid such traps in future. Someone else has already paid the price, so we show respect by learning from the mistakes or misfortune of others. A learning culture is a safety culture is a surviving culture. When we are too proud or stubborn to learn from others, we must never complain about the results, to believe otherwise is fatalistic and quite frankly, stupid.
I am an ex-military fixed wing and helicopter pilot with extensive operational experience, accident investigator qualified through the University of Southern California, Leader of the Harvard 3 ship aerobatic team, Rooivalk attack helicopter first officer commanding and flight safety passionate. I believe that we should learn from the mistakes of others without prejudice.
