Hey Future OT

Known as the Booksmart Queen, Kim Shardia is a licensed occupational therapist and the founder of The Missing Piece OT. Kim faced one of the hardest moments in her career when she took the NBCOT® Exam. Despite using the top resources and spending over six weeks studying, she failed with a 431. This was a huge blow, especially with a dream job waiting for her. That number stood between her and her future as an OT.

Kim retook the exam, used the same strategies, and barely passed with a 450. While relieved, she knew the strategies didn’t work for her thinking style. That’s when she made it her mission to find the missing piece to exam prep.

Today, Kim's mission is clear: to help aspiring OTs build confidence, master content, and pass the exam. Her approach isn’t about memorizing facts or cramming for the test—it's about becoming the confident OT that students dream of being. With Kim's guidance, students don't just prepare—they transform into capable, successful OTs.
