LuxJury are a London-via-Vienna band whose self-effacing alt-pop sounds just as at home blasting from a Hackney dive bar jukebox as it would crackling from a car stereo drifting down the Pacific Coast Highway.

In 2024, on the brink of abandoning music altogether, Lux sent a demo EP to Bella Union—a year later, this hail Mary was transformed into their debut album, and obviously it was called Giving Up. Told through a lens of a constantly conflicted queer identity, their two critically-lauded singles (the stark, lovelorn guitar ballad "Couples Therapy", and the cheeky-yet-emotionally-devastating "Hot Mess") are a prelude to the full-length, coming soon. The band will be unleashing the album live with a series of unmissable dates this fall, supporting Tune-Yards across the UK and Europe.
