Peter Burton's Air Displays.

I filmed these air displays during the 1980s and 1990s on my Panasonic M5 video camera. They are poor quality by today's standards, but I think they are worth sharing with you. The M5 used full size VHS tapes, I have copied the originals onto DVD and then uploaded them to YouTube, so some quality has been lost. I have 39 air displays to upload, It started with RAF Coningsby in 1988, and finished with the RIAT at RAF Fairford in 1996. Sometimes the picture is a bit shaky, due in part to my bad technique and downright excitement!!! I did add music to some films, but most of this has been deleted by YouTube because of copyright. Sorry for the silence.
During 1991, I purchased my first scanner (AOR 1000) so there is some radio comms included in the sound track.
Favourite airshow was of course the Mildenhall Air Fete, sadly gone from the calendar. Hope you enjoy the collection.

The TV news clips are of my Buccaneer cockpit section XK527, which I restored over 10 years. Filmed in 1998.
