80 years ago, Toledo was served by no less than 15 Railroads. Today only 6 serve the city. This channel is dedicated to recording those fallen flags and their successors around the Northwest Ohio region.
Welcome to Toledo Rails.
Norfolk Southern, CSX, Canadian National, Amtrak, Ann Arbor Wheeling and Lake Erie are just the tip of the iceberg. Their heritage units, fast freights, slow locals, and anything of special interest is fair game to be subject of a video on here.
There is also no shortage of steam here!
Current railroads operating on these fallen flags outside of the Toledo Area are all fair game to be covered. Some notable examples include the Indiana Northeastern, Great Lakes Central, Indiana & Ohio, and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
