Welcome to wild & rugged Western Newfoundland.

This land is anything but small. 700 kilometres of road stretches from the gateway ferry port of Channel-Port aux Basques to the tip of the Viking Trail.

With ancient mountains, fjords, and thousands of kilometres of coastline, Western Newfoundland has so much to offer. Here you will find abundant breathing room, a unique geological history going back 1.25 billion years, and a relatively young human history – a mere 6,000 years old – that is still being uncovered today.
