“CRIMEA SPEAKS” is a project created by Zera and Zarema.
The mission of the channel is to dispel the myths of Russian propaganda about Crimea. Russian propaganda did everything to erase the identity of the Crimean Tatar People and it almost succeeded for several generations.
And today - we are the grandchildren of our ancestors - we are trying to revive the culture/traditions/history and identity not only of the Crimean Tatars but also of us Ukrainians.
We are trying to overcome the underrepresentation of the Crimean Tatar people in the media space.
We foster a sense of responsibility for the preservation of cultural heritage.
The world must know the TRUTH to realize how easily common values can be undermined and democratic institutions destroyed.
