About Vedanta
Vedanta is one of the world’s most ancient religious philosophies and one of its broadest. Based on the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India, Vedanta affirms the oneness of existence, the divinity of the soul, and the harmony of religions.
About Us
The San Diego Monastery is a branch of the Vedanta Society of Southern California. The Monastery is located near Balboa Park, at 1440 Upas Street, San Diego. The Monastery holds weekend lectures, evening classes, meditation and vesper services. Krishna Puja is the center’s yearly "grand" celebration, marking its founding.
