Serious and irreversible disease occurs in some young people after as little as one dose of finasteride, a drug marketed to treat hair loss. This is currently termed Post-Finasteride Syndrome. There is currently no effective treatment.
PFS Network is a registered charity. Our objectives are to raise awareness regarding this devastating condition and support molecular-level diagnostic research in PFS patients. This will enable effective screening for those predisposed to this debilitating condition, and effective treatments for the many already suffering.
