During Covid I started a spreadsheet of every concert I’ve ever been to. Tracking things down was tricky, but every so often I’d stumble on a YouTube clip from a show I was at and it felt like finding gold. When shows came back, I got serious about keeping track and started grabbing short clips to help me remember. I would give anything to have a small clip from shows I saw 20 years ago, so I’m doing my future self a favor now.
This channel is just another backup layer for those memories, alongside my cloud and hard drives. I keep the videos public in case another music nerd is searching for proof they were there too. I’m not trying to build a channel, just archiving snippets, not full songs, with dates and venues in the titles/descriptions so they’re useful. If you were at any of these shows, hello! If an artist or venue wants something taken down, send me a message and I’ll remove it.
