Swagath Sivakumar
I've been learning music and poetry of the great Indian mystics from Shabnam Virmani since 2017.
Coming in contact with the mystics was an integrative experience for me, a marriage of the delight of music with a cerebral, philosophical understanding of life. A coming-together of the left and right sides of my brain.
Having struggled with my mental health since my teens, I enjoy sharing the poetry, music and philosophy I have found personally insightful. I have created two works of fiction inspired by the mystics that I hope will find others in similar states of distress. These works are uploaded on the Ajab Shahar archive maintained by the Kabir Project.

I have also been sharing my favourite songs with kids of various schools around India as a part of Shabad Shaala, a non-profit initiative.
I am currently studying philosophy in Dharamshala, India.
