Talia J. Medina
Talia J. Medina is a producer for CBS News, currently working on a newsmagazine show airing on BET called "America in Black." She's received four promotions in the last six years of her tenure with the Paramount family, which has allowed her to bring her organizational expertise to newsworthy events like the Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Georgia; CBS News' Democratic Debate in Charleston, South Carolina; and the Surfside building collapse in the Miami, Florida suburb. Before CBS, Talia was the SunSentintel's digital reporter, covering new restaurants, happy hours, music and cultural events in South Florida in Spanish and English. She is an alumna of Poynter's Leadership Academy for Women in Media and graduated with honors from the University of Florida's award-winning College of Journalism and Communications. She holds a degree in broadcast journalism as well as minors in Spanish and theater. When not working, you can find her dancing with her dogs.
