I’m flat footed, 40 lbs overweight, I don’t exercise and I drive a truck for a living.
That makes me The Unlikely Hiker.

I subscribe to Backpacker magazine, which I love, and I see what the average hiker looks like. I don’t look like that. There are probably many of you out there who have come to the same realization about yourself. One of the beautiful things about the outdoors is, they don’t care what you look like! So, I hope the adventures I share will inspire other unlikely hikers (and regular hikers) to “get on the trail!”
