Are you ready to get out of the city and head to the farm? Tired of running ragged and ready for more peace in your life? I had a successful career in the Los Angeles area for more than 20 years when we decided we needed out of the city. In our mid 40's we were beginning to think about our future retirement and wanted to be in a position to live a more peaceful life with closer ties to our food and our land. But how? I was a failed gardener and had no experience raising farm animals. I was overwhelmed and out of my comfort zone (by miles!) but by taking small manageable steps, I have built a successful homestead which supplies all of our meat, some of our veggies, and even some income.
