Welcome to my stitchery world

I have been on my personal textile journey for my whole life. Learning to sew with my mum & making things for my dolls when I was little is my earliest memory of starting to sew with my Grandma's singer sewing machine. I didn't really stitch at school as art was my first love throughout school. This continued through university & onto my current career as Head of Art at our local secondary school.
However textiles has always been there in the background. I started going to workshops & learning about a wide variety of textile techniques. I decided to continue my own education by completing a City & Guilds level 3 in embroidery & from there I haven't really looked back.
