Scripture commands us numerous times to make a joyful noise unto the LORD! There is no better place to find this command than in the psalms where God’s praise is outwardly displayed through music in many different trials, failures, and victories of the psalmists lives.

Psalm 98 highlights 3 reasons why we should praise the Lord with a new song—
1. God’s worthy glory
2. Testimony to the ends of the earth
3. Our completion of joy

It’s amazing to think that we can participate in bringing praise to The Most Magnificent of all beings, which I have no greater joy than being a small part of: savoring passages of scripture that have been placed on my heart and writing simple melodies to be a constant encouragement, challenge, and way of reminder of our total depravity outside the hope and eternal joy of salvation found through the blood of Jesus Christ. I pray these musical groans too deep for words might be a testimony and light to anyone it may reach—for He alone is worthy to be praised!
