Yi has successfully built her business in the commercial art industry over the past decade since she earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts and an MBA. After graduating from the Cake Decorating Program at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) and the Professional Chef Program at Natural Gourmet Institute (NGI) in New York City, Yi launched her culinary art business: Yi Cakes and She has changed to a new brand name --Cake Playhouse
Yi is world-famous for her stunning signature sugar figurines. Yi won multiple awards nationwide including a “Grand Prize Spectacular”, a “Best of Show”, 7 times first places in cake decorating competitions around the USA.
