Hi, I'm Britta! I live in Vermont and currently have three mustangs and an Appaloosa.
In 2021, I took a leap to follow a dream. I left my career job (unrelated to horses) to pursue my passion for mustangs. I adopted my first wild mustangs and supported myself through creative work, part-time jobs, and sheer determination. It’s been a journey of risk and sacrifice, but also incredible growth.
I named my channel The Project Equestrian because I see myself as the project—constantly learning, evolving, and striving to be better for my horses. That initial passion has revealed itself as a core value: the pursuit of continual growth, becoming more educated and informed to help promote a more ethical and empathic world for horses.
Now in 2025, my purpose and direction are still unfolding as I discover where I fit in the horse world and the impact I want to make. I think I'm just scratching the surface right now, and am excited to see where this journey takes me.
