I discovered YouTube in mid-2023 — a little late, perhaps, but filled with curiosity and passion. At the age of 76, I uploaded my very first video on July 9, 2023. Since then, I’ve created over 900 videos, mostly shorts, sharing everything from famous quotes by Zhang Ailing and Lu Xun, to peaceful scenery and my husband enjoying his meals.

In July 2024, life changed when my husband suffered a stroke and was hospitalised for over half a year. I paused everything — but I never gave up. Now, I’m focusing more on long-form walking tour videos, capturing Sydney’s parks, shopping centres, and everyday life, often from my unique wheelchair-level view using the Insta360 X5 camera. I love this perspective — and I believe you might too.

Humanities and Scenery is not just about beautiful places. It’s about the spirit behind them — stories of love, aging, perseverance, and wonder.
