Chopin Institute
The Fryderyk Chopin Institute is the greatest Chopin centre in the world, which fully and comprehensively promotes, protects and popularizes the heritage of Fryderyk Chopin.
The Institute is also the organiser of many global events, including the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition and the Chopin and his Europe festival.
Other activities of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute cover the following areas:
– research and popularization of knowledge about Chopin’s life and work,
– publications,
– organization of concerts, conferences, courses,
– cooperation with institutions and organizations dealing in the protection of the Chopin heritage,
– gathering of Chopin-related archive materials and museum objects,
– monitoring of whether Chopin’s image and name are not used for commercial purposes,
