Foundations of Tourism Institute (FoTI)
This channel intends to share the talents and skills of students working with the Foundations of Tourism Institute, also known as FoTI. This upcoming Institute seeks to provide tourism students with the professional skills for working in the African tourism sector. It will facilitate their innovative business ideas by helping them to turn the theory learned in class into a tourism product that clients can enjoy. The objective is to bring professionalism into the lecture halls instead of the students waiting for long holiday breaks to attend internships. Graduates will transition to FoTI Alumni to access mentorship on establishing their businesses, network with potential employers, and win scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies. Talented Postgraduates will join the apex FoTI Think Tank as tourism researchers and policy analysts.
