We are an Italian music publishing company, founded in 1989 and based in Milan, Italy. For over twenty years now, we have been publishing fine sheet music for Music and Theatre, Film, Musical Comedies, Concert Band, Symphonic Orchestra, School Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Instrumental, Educational - covering everything from unique editions of classic repertoire scored for modern sonority and instrumentation to more modern. We were one of the first publishers to release musical ’fairy tales’, e.g. ‘L’Ultimo Burattino’, based on Collodi's tale of Pinocchio and originally written as a musical (1995) by Sergio Parisini (translated into over 5 languages), and more recently "Il Bambino e la Guerra" written by Nunzio Ortolano, first premiered at the Teatro Massimo of Palermo (Italy) in 2008. Many important soloists cooperate with us in the creation and diffusion of contemporary beside more classical compositions. Our label EMW offers excellent recordings by the finest musicians.
