THE HISTORY OF THE LOOPIST

Born in 1916 in Raynes Park, London, The Loopist, then known as Justin Daurat, was born. He had many dreams as did most kids but his main one of being a popular singer was met rather early as a 19 year old, where he was heard singing in the kitchens of a well known Jazz Club whilst washing the dishes.

Before long he was playing to sell out gigs that his new appointed management had gotten him. He was at his peak around 1938 and became a comfort to many with the possibility of war looking a more likely outcome. It wasn't until 1940 that he was called to fight.... TBC
