Hermit of Visconti
I believe the earth and other physical worlds are schools for spiritual growth. The earth is a limiting skin school where our limiting incarnations are remembered and then compared to a less limited spiritual consciousness in order to appreciate the less limited & more loving spiritual world. To better appreciate a less limited & more loving spiritual existence we must first be physical and limited. Earth is an action planet which offers incredible and unique opportunities for a successful comparative model. And, learning to love where we have not loved before is a key to spiritual growth.
The Hermit of Visconti is an early trionfi card featuring an old man with a flowing beard, a staff and an hour glass. The hermit tells us to trust our intuition and journey by seeking wisdom through introspection. The hermit reminds us that there is both light and darkness in every soul and lifetime and to seek love in a world of darkness.
