McCampbell teaches instructional art videos and publishes videos about her painting workshops she leads to Europe and US locales. McCampbell is a GOLDEN Acrylic Certified Educator and a Dedicated Gamblin Instructor.
McCampbell makes learning art fun. She is "The Imperfect Painter" because she finds perfectionism stifling to the creative process. She enjoys painting with friends and having fun with art.
"I believe strongly in knowing how to be archival with art materials yet experimentation is key to growth as an artist. I'm a process oriented painter in that I start with a plan but it usually takes on a life of its own and I just follow its lead. My desire is to encourage others to paint and enjoy the beauty and healing qualities of making art!"
